SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Processing Lead (Picking, Packing, and Replenishment) must have a strong skill set in the following daily business needs: ensure efficient functioning of the picking and packing, answer order processing questions, direct team work assignments, convey (written & verbal) communications (within and outside) the department, maintain good housekeeping and safety practices and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bilingual - Spanish
  • Strong leadership abilities, build diverse team, motivate, cross train and guide to achieving goals
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to identify issues and implement efficient solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet goals
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS, PKMS)
  • Excellent communication skills, to effectively communicate with team and other departments
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in task management and root causing issues
  • Concern for balancing business factors such as cost, staffing, safety, and compliance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands
  • Build positive working relationships with other departments
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations with composure
  • Shifts vary but generally begin between 4am-5am
  • Flexibility to work OT and/or Saturdays and Holidays

SALARY DESCRIPTION

$20 - $25.50/ h

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities for picking (both RF and by autonomous robot) and packing team, up to 18+ associates
  • Plan, reassess, and prioritize tasks for the team to ensure optimal productivity and to meet daily goals/duties.
  • Review and prepare reporting daily on workload, productivity metrics, risks and order fulfilment
  • Create, Monitor, and Enforce compliance with SOPs to maintain quality and accuracy of orders
  • Coordinate with departments such as planners, inventory, shipping and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely order processing. Prioritize, rearranging tasks/orders to ensure the team’s productivity and use of appropriate time
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement efficient practices to enhance productivity, time, and costs
  • Keep management informed of operations, opportunities, including any safety or process issues
  • Candidate must have strong communication, email etiquette and personnel skills
  • Train and develop team members on proper procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
  • Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring, accept and provide constructive feedback to associates
