Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to execute responsibilities related to SAP system variants and tables to drive system functionality. Additionally, this role proactively manages orders while exercising considerable judgment and critical thinking skills in making decisions and communicating sound resolutions related to order processing; working within Carhartt’s corporate objectives and goals to meet our customers’ shipping expectations. The position also provides timely and concise analytical reporting utilized to make major business decisions. The Order Management Analyst is responsible for proactively analyzing and recommending adjustments to default fill rate or allocation rules, analyzing orders, and maintaining as necessary to achieve a seamless order processing experience for our accounts. This person is responsible for collaborating with IT to execute testing related to System Enhancements or updates that impact all of Order Management; this includes updating or creating processing and training Order Management Associates.

Representative Responsibilities

• Distribution center work pool reporting, monitoring and analysis ensuring there is 5-7 days of work volume across all distribution centers (based on individual DC picking target volume)
• Proactively monitor, review, identify, investigate and resolve order issues while collaborating with the OM Inventory Analysts for replicated materials
• Manage primary DC inventory moves, reassign plant codes on orders, and collaborate with the DC Planning Team for materials located at the incorrect DC
• Management of various system variants and tables to drive system functionality.
• Managing quality holds and delivery blocks while collaborating with our internal partners (Sales, Customer Care, Customer Engagement and/or the account or material master teams, etc.)
• Create, execute, and distribute open order standardized report requests in SAP, Webi, or Power BI, as well as adhoc reporting and analysis used to make business decisions on the order processing strategy
• Execute order price redeterminations as directed by Accounting and/or Sales. Create a strategy regarding the most productive process that aligns with our revenue targets and distribution center order flow
• Collaborate with IT on testing for system enhancements and updates related to all OM roles. This includes creating or updating existing processes as well as training all Order Management associates
• Coordinate and/or execute special projects as requested by Leadership; support OM Team members, backfill other associates as requested by Leadership

Required Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree required.

Required Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 4 years combined Customer Service, Order Fulfillment or Order Management experience required
• Experience with relevant computer applications required, including Data Warehouse, MS Office (Excel, Word), and Outlook; SAP preferred
• Experience with Sales Order Processing, Distribution Center operations and/or Warehouse Management systems and how they fit together to provide product in support of customer and business requirements
• Strong business acumen skills – strategic thinking, leadership, market orientation, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, detail-oriented
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact with all levels of the organization
• Proven record of working in a team-focused environment while maintaining the ability to exercise considerable independent judgement – self-motivated while working with minimal supervision
• Customer service-focused and results-oriented
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities – work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and evenings

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• This position has a Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
• Some travel may be required (approx. 5%)
