Cutter & Squidge, an award-winning sister-run bakery, is looking for a dedicated Order Packer to join our Despatch team in West London!

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Order Packer in our Despatch team, you’ll be crucial in making sure our delightful products reach our customers efficiently and safely. Reporting to the Despatch Team Leader, you’ll ensure every order is packed with care, reflecting our commitment to excellence and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Order Preparation: Utilise our order systems to collect and organise daily orders based on courier requirements.
  • Accurate Packaging: Prepare and package a high volume of daily orders to our company standards, ensuring all products are present, secured safely, and clearly labelled for correct tracking and delivery.
  • Picking & Quality Control: Accurately pick orders from storage areas (including chilled or frozen) and perform quality checks on all packed products to ensure they meet our standards.
  • Efficiency & Deadlines: Keep up with varying order demands, proactively meet all courier collection deadlines, and consistently achieve demanding packing targets while maintaining our quality standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Confidently and safely operate packaging equipment such as bag sealers, labellers, and box sealers.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Safety standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, support warehouse teams when needed, and proactively address any packaging or stock issues with your Line Manager.
  • Inventory Support: Document accurate records of product usage and monitor/report low inventory levels to prevent shortages.
