We are Sheldon Creek Dairy! Located in Loretto Ontario, we craft whole milk products and much more. We are seeking a reliable and efficient Order Picker Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and shipping customer orders in a timely manner. This role is crucial to maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking
- Accurately pick products from fridge location and warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Ensure picked items are in good condition and match order specifications.
-Packing
- Carefully pack orders to prevent damage during shipping.
- Label packages accurately with shipping and handling information.
Shipping
- Prepare orders for shipment by verifying packing lists.
- Load packages onto delivery trucks or pallets.
Inventory Management
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Report discrepancies or damaged products to the supervisor.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
General Warehouse Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet movers and floor cleaners
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 30 pounds for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced fridge/warehouse setting.
- Exposure to 4 degree temperatures in refrigerated warehouse
- Requires standing and moving for most of the shift.
Schedule
Monday to Thursday 10am-6pm
Friday 9am-2pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
