Your role as an Order Picker/Shopper: As an Order Picker at Picnic, you’re the hero behind every successful delivery! Your mission? Make sure hundreds of customers get their groceries fresh and on time. Here’s what you’ll do: Pick & Pack like a pro - Collect and pack everything from coffee beans to water bottles using your pick cart and scanner. Work across different departments: Ambient Zone for room-temperature products Chilled Zone for refrigerated items like milk and yogurt (don’t worry, we’ll keep you warm with a jacket and gloves!) Freezer Zone involves occasional picking of frozen items at temperatures between -18°C and -24°C. This is only a small part of the assortment, but everyone should be prepared to work there when needed. Tasks include using a manual order picking cart and handling dry ice (protective gear provided). Each employee receives an additional 30-minute paid break (no allowance) for freezer work. Keep it moving - Prepare insulated crates and containers so every order is ready to roll. Team up & Level up - Get coaching and support from your team leader to grow your skills. Work schedule: At Picnic, employees work in one of two shifts: morning (06:00–15:00) or afternoon (15:00–00:00), five days a week including one fixed weekend day, as the warehouse operates 7 days a week To succeed in this job, you should be: Committed for at least 6 months - we love consistency!
