Description
We are looking to reinforce the Logistic Team with an experienced Logistic & Order Processing Operator who will act as the interface between Lavis Operations and our customers, making also direct contacts with forwarders and planning smooth and timely pick-ups and deliveries of finished products and spares. In this position you will be directly responsible to process Customer orders within Lavis organization, utilizing local ERP and, when the goods are ready, to organize deliveries with all the relevant documentation according to Regulations and Gunnebo Standards. We are also seeking for a dynamic and adaptable professional that will bring previous experience in direct customer interaction, demonstrating strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. We're looking for a team player who is eager to thrive in an environment of constant evolution and change. Main tasks for the position: Being the point of contact for Internal Customers for any lead-time request for Capital Equipment and Spare Parts; Processing into local ERP the internal orders for Capital Equipment and Spare Parts; Once received lead-time information through the ERP, send a complete Order Confirmation to Internal Customers; Where required, compile and issue “build cards” to Production in order to facilitate the order processing on the shop-floor; When the order is complete, and information are received from Production, produce all the necessary documents for the delivery of the goods and organize the shipment directly dealing with External Forwarders; To produce timely and accurate reports when requested by the Logistic Manager. Possible direct interactions with customers or distributors. Achieving a good knowledge of the manufactured products In order to be successful in the role, you will have to: Be fluent in English and Italian; Have experience in working in a back-office environment with the aim to offer the best Customer oriented experience to any counterpart; Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and experience with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders; Have the capacity to understand customer needs and provide timely, accurate, and effective support or solutions; Being a Team Player and willing to deal with different departments in order to ensure Customer’s needs are understood and fulfilled; Have know-how in transportation terms and conditions, and experience in organizing pick-ups and deliveries of goods dealing directly with Forwarders; Know what a letter of credit is and the shipping procedures when this document is involved; Be familiar with documentation to be prepared and issued for the deliveries, both for EU or for extra- EU Customers; Experience with ERP systems (Order Processing, Stock Queries, Delivery Notes preparation, etc); Willing to learn quickly EC products is a pre-requisite to be successful in the position. Be familiar with the terms of delivery (Incoterms) Be familiar with MS Office Package, especially with Excel Basic functions. Be capable of managing priorities and remain composed under pressure while maintaining a service-oriented attitude.
