ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly organised, self-motivated, and customer-focused Order Processor & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role combines order processing, logistics coordination, and administrative support, ensuring a seamless process from order entry through to delivery. You will work closely with customers, production, and logistics partners to provide an excellent service experience while maintaining accuracy across systems and documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Process customer orders using Sage, the Stock Module, and the SVR system.
· Book shipments via online courier portals and manage the Pallet Network for national deliveries.
· Arrange national and international freight, ensuring bookings are completed efficiently.
· Send order confirmations to customers and advise of any changes to orders or delivery schedules.
· Liaise directly with the production team to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
· Prepare and manage all paperwork for international shipments, including export declarations, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
· Assist logistics agents with their duties, providing support as needed.
· Maintain stock control and ensure accurate data entry across all systems.
· Support senior team members with month-end and year-end closing processes.
· Handle invoice financing queries, resolving issues in a timely manner.
· Answer customer phone enquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
· Collaborate with colleagues to streamline administrative and logistics processes.
· Maintain organised filing systems for all documents and records.
