Forklift Certification Required: Operator needs to be able to operate a "Clamp" and stand up SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Assist in handling the daily administrative and organizational functions of the warehouse assigned by the Warehouse Manager. Keeping records of all documentation relating to the shipping and receiving of goods and materials. Preparing of inventory balanced, and related documents. DUTIES Some of the duties of this position are those described below. Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management. RECEIVING MATERIALS * Schedule incoming freight shipments. * Read and verify packing labels. * Unload pallets of newly arrived raw material. * Inspect raw materials for any damage. * Place the new raw material in the appropriate inventory. Arrange the return of any damaged raw material. INVENTORY * Locate inventory material for shipping. * Stock new inventory material. * Re-stock any additional inventory. * Determine the location of missing item. * Identify low stock items. * Rotate old stock items to the front (FIFO). * Maintain materials organized. * Move raw material without damaging it. WORK WITH CUSTOMERS Provide service to walk-in customers. * Assist walk-in customers with inventory selection and other decisions. * Write up orders for walk-in customers. * Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness. * Operate forklifts and other machinery or tools safely. * Wear proper personal protection equipment. * Keep area clean. * Remove obstacles from warehouse floor.

Responsibilities

The Order Puller is responsible for assisting with daily administrative and organizational functions in the warehouse, including shipping and receiving goods. They will also maintain inventory records and ensure materials are organized and handled safely.
