Position Information * Location: Tiger Commissary Warehouse – 38197 Commercial Court Slidell, LA 70458 * Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm; Monday-Friday (paid holidays) * Benefits: 100% Company paid employee Medical, Dental, Life Insurance & short-term disability insurance; Paid time off available after 90 days of employment Responsibilities Operations * Accurately fill customer orders * Accurately count & record inventory as needed * Stock pick line shelves as needed * Package products for shipment according to customer specifications Safety * Maintains cleanliness & sanitation in the distribution center in order to meet federal & states standards * Follows all safety procedures in order to meet federal & state standards * Performs other duties as assigned or required Skills/Abilities * Must be able to read & interpret customer orders * Must be able to accurately count & record inventory * Working knowledge of computers, internet & email. Familiar with Microsoft products * Excellent verbal & written skills * Excellent customer service skills * Good organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work well with others with excellent oral & written communication skills * Dependable & able to meet time deadlines * Good Problem Solver Preferred Requirements * High School graduate or GED equivalent * Experience of pulling product by hand Physical and Mental Requirements * Must be able to hear & receive normal conversations & information * Must have average visual abilities necessary to read customer orders * Must have ability to lift up to 30 pounds * Must be able to perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply & divide * Ability to use passive vocabulary of 5000 to 6000 words, to read at a slow rate, able to write basic sentences and ability to communicate sentences with good vocabulary Remote work is not allowed.
