Description

Summary: As an MHE Operator at Galls, you will be responsible for all aspects of restocking shelves and storage areas, ensuring a continuous supply of inventory for order fulfillment while operating warehouse equipment like cherry pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts and scanners Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. · Ensure Order Accuracy Prior to shipping for all Outbound “Tasks”. · Communicate with Team Lead/Supervisor regarding all problems and needs. · Develop and relay improvements to Team Lead/Supervisor. · Record, Calculate, Enter, and Sort Data into spreadsheets · Ensure all outbound tasks are completed according to Department procedures. · Examine work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. · Ensure Department’s work area is clean, neat and organized each day (i.e., boxes, bins, sweeping, and all trash). Daily paperwork is filed neatly and is organized according to Department procedures. · Assist Inbound team members with resolving problems. · Count, research and monitor activity of merchandise by product number and location · Communicate with members of other Departments as needed to process orders to meet DC Goals. · Assist in training, cross-training and development of members of the Outbound team. · Operate Material Handling Equipment to include Fork, Order Selector, Walkie and Pallet Jack · Perform other duties as assigned.
