Description The Order Specialist at Case Systems works at the direction of the Account Manager to address any outstanding questions or issues affecting assigned projects. Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities Become knowledgeable about Case Systems’ product lines, including laminate casework, countertops, BOSTONtec core product and BOSTONtec standard lab products. Monitor and manage project deliverables (e.g. information, drawings, submittals and deliveries), and ensure orders are processed accurately and on-time. Work with other functional departments, such as scheduling, materials, customs, drafting and manufacturing, to resolve any outstanding issues or questions. Communicate accurately and timely with the Account Manager. Support Account Manager with customer communications. Coordinate meetings and phone conferences as needed. Maintain complete and accurate records of all communications. Send samples to dealers upon request. Work in an extremely safe manner, following all safety rules and regulations. Develop teamwork by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all employees and business contacts. Maintain an acceptable attendance record. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Three (3) years' applicable experience. Good attendance, reliability, and work performance records. Basic keyboard and computer skills, such as Excel, Word and Outlook; AutoCad experience helpful. Ability to use in-house software programs such as JobLog, Caseline, Syteline, and Shipright. Good communication and interpersonal skills - verbal, written, e-mail, and telephone. Ability to read and comprehend architectural blueprints, drawings and specifications and bid documents. Good time management and organizational skills; ability to set goals, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously. Accuracy and quality conscious with a strong focus on attention to details. Strong problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities. Willingness and ability to work extra hours as projects and workload require. Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, see and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Minimal travel and/or driving is required. Noise levels are typically low to moderate. Responsibilities
The Order Specialist manages project deliverables and ensures orders are processed accurately and on time. They work closely with the Account Manager and other departments to resolve issues and maintain effective communication.
