As an Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately recording and processing customer orders in a timely manner. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Answer customer calls and greet walk-in customers promptly and professionally Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all details and special requests are correctly recorded Enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system with precision and efficiency Provide customers with detailed information about menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing Upsell additional items or promote daily specials when appropriate Communicate order details clearly to kitchen staff and coordinate with the service team for timely order fulfillment Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with patience and professionalism Process payments accurately and provide correct change when necessary Maintain a clean and organized workspace Stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and company policies Assist with other customer service tasks as needed Qualifications Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Keen attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and data entry Basic math skills for handling orders and payments Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Knowledge of food and beverage items (preferred) Previous experience in a similar customer service or order-taking role (preferred) Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus Additional Information Your team and working environment: • A passionate and inspired team that creates unique experiences for all they meet. • We recognize and celebrate our team and individual success Hotel Overview: Overlooking one of Cairo’s most beautiful Nile views, Nile City Towers complex is a business destination claim to Egypt’s corporate success.
