As an Accounts Receivable Accountant (m/f/d) - Order-to-Cash (O2C), you play a crucial role in actively shaping Ushio Industry & Entertainment and providing tangible added value.

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for controlling and ensuring automated invoicing in the order-to-cash process, including checking system runs, handling exceptions, and posting outgoing invoices and credit notes in special cases.
• Monitoring of outstanding receivables through receivables analysis, targeted dunning procedures, and consistent clarification and follow-up of overdue receivables.
• Posting and allocation of incoming payments (bank, cash application) as well as creation of payment proposal lists for payment runs
• Support for liquidity planning through transparent presentation of current and expected incoming payments.
• Clarification of payment discrepancies in close coordination with sales and customer service
• Contributing to the optimization and standardization of O2C processes
• Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (e.g., valuation adjustments to receivables, accruals)
• Support in related areas within the accounting department, in particular VAT returns and invoice receipt.

Who we are looking for:

• Completed commercial/business administration training
• Extensive professional experience in accounts receivable (O2C), ideally in an international environment
• Experience in bank reconciliation is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of German Commercial Code (HGB) and relevant VAT requirements
• Confident handling of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
• High degree of accuracy, structure and sense of responsibility
• Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and a proactive and solution-oriented work style.
• Fluent German and very good English skills, both spoken and written.
