Cabinet Order Writer About the Role Allied Interior Solutions (a division of Allied Stone, Inc.) is the industry’s choice for single-family cabinets and countertops. From design to completion, we provide superior service, support, and turnkey solutions. Based in DeSoto, Texas, all AIS cabinet products are 100% manufactured in the U.S.A. Using state-of-the-art, real-time cloud-based equipment, we provide the highest efficiency to complete orders with shorter lead times. With a team of trendsetting designers, skilled craftsmen, and cutting-edge technology, we create a seamless client experience that results in unrivaled finished spaces. The Cabinet Order Writer serves as the main point of contact between the Account Coordinator and Manufacturing, ensuring cabinet orders are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting successful project execution and on-time delivery. Essential Functions * Ability to process orders accurately and efficiently in high volumes. * Create plan order lists per approved shop drawings. A list of all the cabinets and misc. pieces that will be ordered for a specific unit type in both as shown and reverse formats. * Using field measurements provided by the template team to see if modifications are needed to be made to any cabinets. * Attend customer on-board meetings with AIS internal personnel to ensure successful project/Communities * Create address specific orders for production and for on-time deliveries. * Work with Account Coordinators and Designers to gather documents and information needed to run a successful home cabinetry order. * Verifying millworks and entering SKU’s, colors, addresses in manufacturing software using the designs. * Creating service orders for replacements. QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TRAINING) Required Education: * High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred Education: * None Required Experience: * 2020 insight experience is a plus. Preferred Experience: * Construction or cabinetry background is a plus. ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Knowledge * Maintains knowledge of thousands of product SKU’s. * A basic understanding of the construction industry. Skills * Proficiency in Microsoft office applications; able to navigate other related software. * Strong communication skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. * Excellent organizational skills. Abilities * Self-motivation in project management and planning. * The ability to follow processes with strong attention to detail * The ability to be a team player across departments. * An ability to work independently.
