MY ACCOUNTABILITIES – WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Placing orders and ensuring that order acknowledgements reflect the terms of the order.
  • Arrange, manage and coordinate incoming and expected shipments, e.g. arrange collection and paperwork associated to the type of goods and location.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing communications to & from our suppliers and internal teams in a clear and professional manner ensuring requirements are fully understood and appropriately met.
  • Ensuring item accuracy on internal systems.
  • Act as the interface between Sales and Operations to ensure that our customers receive their orders on time and as requested.
  • Update estimated receipt dates on existing Purchase Orders on a weekly basis.

My Experiences & Qualifications – You’re someone who has;

  • 2 years Ordering and/or Logistics Administration experience, preferably in a Technology Distributor.
  • Experience using an ERP/MRP system, NetSuite an advantage.
  • Highly experienced in using Microsoft Office

  • Logistics: 2 years (required)

Responsibilities

As one of our Procurement Co-ordinators you will be responsible for providing day-to-day Ordering & Logistics administration and co-ordinating activities. Working with our Procurement & Vendor Manager this will involve proactively following up with tasks and showing good initiative when overcoming challenges.
This role will involve liaising with other members of the Operations and Sales teams, Westbase.io suppliers and customers.
