Description
About the role: As an Organic Growth Manager, you'll own the strategy and execution behind Everlab's organic growth engine. Everlab's paid acquisition is strong. Organic is the unlock. We want to shift from around 7% organic traffic share to 20% and above, and this role owns that mission. You'll be the operator behind our SEO programme, organic social presence, referral mechanics, and owned channel growth. You'll work closely with our SEO agency (led by a founding-level advisor), our content team, and engineering to turn Everlab into an authority in preventive health. This role sits inside our Growth function, reporting into the Growth team. We move quickly, operate with high ownership, and expect every person to think in outcomes, not activities. We are an AI-first team. Every person in Growth is expected to use AI tools to work faster, experiment more, and produce higher quality output. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Sydney with 1 to 2 days per week in our Surry Hills office. Responsibilities and scope: SEO strategy execution: Own the agency relationship day-to-day, drive the content calendar, and ensure technical SEO recommendations actually ship. Organic social: Build a distribution engine across Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. Content strategy, format experiments, and community engagement. Referral programme: Design, launch, and optimise a customer referral mechanic that turns Everlab's satisfied members into a measurable acquisition channel. Email list growth: Own the top-of-funnel email acquisition strategy including lead magnets, organic capture flows, and newsletter growth. Organic performance reporting: Build a weekly dashboard covering sessions, rankings, social reach, referral volume, and CAC contribution from owned channels. Cross-squad collaboration: Partner with Performance on retargeting organic audiences, and with Lifecycle on nurturing organic leads through to deposit. Agency management: Hold the SEO agency accountable with clear briefs, milestone tracking, content QA, and escalation when output falls short. AI-powered reporting: Automate organic performance reporting with AI-assisted dashboards that surface ranking movements, traffic shifts, and referral anomalies without manual data wrangling. What we are looking for: Experience: 4 to 7 years in an organic growth, SEO, or content marketing role, ideally in a B2C growth environment. Agency partnership: Proven experience managing or partnering with an SEO agency. You know how to get the most out of external teams. Strong SEO fundamentals: Keyword strategy, content briefing, on-page optimisation, technical SEO coordination. Compounding mindset: You treat every organic channel as a compounding asset. You're building for 12-month returns, not this week's post. Referral thinking: You think about referral as a product, not a campaign. Incentive design, friction removal, measurement, and iteration. Analytics confidence: Comfortable with Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and basic attribution modelling. You can translate a dashboard into a prioritised action list for the next sprint. Editorial instinct: You can tell the difference between content that ranks and content that resonates. Your social content earns reach through relevance and insight, not ad spend. (Nice to have) Referral or word-of-mouth programme experience: You've designed and run a referral programme that actually moved CAC. (Nice to have) Health, wellness, or regulated consumer category experience: AHPRA-adjacent content awareness is a plus. Working at Everlab: Do work that matters: We're building the future of preventive health. Use your skills to prevent disease, improve access to personalised care, and reduce pressure on the health system. Work-life flexibility: Hybrid working with 1 to 2 days in the office, plus flexibility to manage life beyond the 9 to 5 when it matters. Experience Everlab as a customer: Full access to the Everlab health program, provided after successfully passing probation. Share in our success: Employee Share Option Plan included as part of your total remuneration. We grow together. People you'll love working with: A welcoming, mission-driven team of smart, thoughtful people doing meaningful work.
