POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to strategically build and guard the Diligent brand across social channels. Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand, this person will lead the execution of social strategy and collaborate across the organization with key stakeholders and business partners to prioritize needs and drive the creation of native, tailor-made content for Diligent’s social platforms.
The ideal candidate demonstrates good strategy and judgement about what can garner attention and is appropriate for the brand. This person will be responsible for helping to further refine the voice and personality of the Diligent brand on social channels, as well as assisting our marketing team to execute campaigns on social channels. This person should be comfortable using AI to further their efforts.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • 5 to 7 years of social and communications experience with a proven track record of success
  • Possesses strong understanding of social, including current trends and what’s coming next, and has an informed POV on its role in marketing; understands platform features and audience nuances that help drive customized content strategies
  • Able to work closely with a variety cross-functional team members and decision makers to move projects forward
  • Experience using AI-tools to improve quality and velocity of social media content.
  • Ability to analyze data and use as the basis to make data-led decisions
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrates agility in high growth environments and always seeks ways to improve and drive better results; takes on new stretch opportunities to continuously grow
  • Masters storytelling and copywriting with excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Experience in B2B social media management
  • Experience in creative tools to produce compelling imagery, gifs and videos, such as Creatopy, Canva and Adobe Suite.
  • Proficiency in Sprout Social
Responsibilities
  • Execute the global social strategy – guided by brand and commercial goals – with key players across the organization to increase followers, social engagement and first-time web visits
  • Expand Diligent’s internal employee advocacy program to further our brand through our employee’s support on social networks
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and execute campaigns through cohesive messages and storytelling
  • Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company and industry, including with employees, customers, partners and thought leaders
  • Provide reporting from social media platforms along with Google Analytics – using insights to guide future activities
  • Continuously look to innovate, streamline, incorporate AI, solve problems, and have a no limits mindset.
