Overwatch Energy is a leading player in Australia’s renewable and conventional energy markets, specialising in power trading, market operations, and asset optimisation for the owners and operators of utility scale wind, solar and batteries.
We are seeking an Organisation and Methods Analyst to join our growing team and help optimise our operational performance, systems, and workflows across the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
· Minimum 1-year of proven experience in organisational/process analysis, operational improvement, or business systems implementation ideally in the energy sector.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Python or Power BI) and techniques highly regarded.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver improvements within agreed timeframes.

Responsibilities

· Analyse existing organisational systems, processes, and trading desk workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
· Develop, implement, and document new operational methods, procedures, and tools.
· Evaluate business processes in line with market rules, compliance requirements, and strategic objectives.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent adoption of improved systems and processes.
· Research and assess the impact of regulatory and market changes on operational methods.
· Prepare performance reports and present findings to senior management.
· Lead or support projects introducing new platforms, automation, or process improvements.
