About the role Reporting to the Manager Organisation Planning and Performance, you'll support corporate and service planning, and help produce clear reporting and analysis on organisational performance. You'll work with colleagues across the organisation to develop and maintain planning frameworks, and conduct analysis to support the service review program. This role contributes to informed decision-making and better outcomes for the community. Key responsibilities include: * Help coordinate the organisation's annual planning process, making sure responsibilities are clearly assigned and understood at each level. * Work with senior leaders and their teams to find ways to improve how planning is done, and help make it a normal part of everyday operations. * Support service reviews from start to finish, ensuring they're consistent, transparent, and meet legal requirements. * Analyse how services are performing and what the community needs, using financial data, operational information, and benchmarking to assess efficiency and effectiveness. * Turn service review findings into practical recommendations, and work with others to make sure these are reflected in planning and budget decisions. * Help set clear yearly priorities, targets, and performance measures for the relevant part of the organisation. * Track and report on performance regularly, so leaders have accurate, up-to-date information to guide decisions. About you To succeed in this role, you'll have a relevant degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field, or significant experience in a similar role at a comparable organisation. Essential experience: * Good people skills, with the ability to work well with, support, and influence others. * Strong writing, presentation, and speaking skills to communicate clearly and get buy-in from others. * Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage relationships and build effective working partnerships. * Confident presenting information to others, including using relevant technology and software. * A track record of getting results, even in difficult or fast-changing situations. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while staying focused on agreed goals and targets. * Experience helping teams adapt to change and improve the way they work, especially in complex situations.
