Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future.
Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.
We currently have an opportunity for an Organisational Change Manager in Canberra to work on a key Coalition Project.

Responsibilities

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Develop and execute change management strategies that support the transformation of the Pegasus Program into a reliable, trusted FVEY C4I capability, ensuring alignment with Defence’s strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication between Australian Defence stakeholders and international coalition partners to ensure consistent understanding and adoption of CSI capabilities.
  • Guide the integration of Pegasus and DMSE transformation outcomes into Australia’s Defence operating model, ensuring business benefits are realised and sustained.
  • Promote awareness and acceptance of new systems and processes across APS and ADF personnel, addressing resistance and fostering a culture of interoperability and collaboration.Assess organisational readiness, track adoption metrics, and adjust change plans to ensure successful delivery of multinational interoperability outcomes.
