Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of the Group Risk and Assurance business unit, the Organisational Resilience Team plays a critical role in ensuring ART can effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptions—safeguarding our members and beneficiaries from adverse impacts. The Organisational Resilience Manager is a key contributor to this mission, responsible for supporting and delivering initiatives within ART’s organisational resilience program. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the business, driving continuous improvement and embedding CPS230 Operational Risk Management practices. With a focus on building an integrated, adaptive, and compliant resilience capability, this position helps ensure ART remains robust and responsive in a dynamic risk environment.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Support the delivery of ART’s organisational resilience strategy to protect members and beneficiaries from disruption.
  • Lead, plan, coordinate or contribute to embed and sustain organisational resilience activities including APRA regulatory standard, CPS230 Operational Risk Management.
  • Guide business units in fulfilling continuity requirements through Business Impact Analysis, plan reviews, and testing.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to drive continuous improvement and ensure the resilience program remains fit-for-purpose.
  • Develop and maintain governance documents that underpin ART’s resilience framework.
  • Provide expert advice on risk mitigation aligned with regulatory requirements, Board risk appetite, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to reporting for Executive, Committee, and Board audiences, highlighting risk profiles, control effectiveness, and emerging issues.
  • Manage and enhance disruption and crisis management processes, tools, and preparedness activities.
  • Coordinate and lead activities to support ART’s Organisational Resilience Test and Exercise program, working with Critical Operation Owners, Leads and key stakeholders within the business.
  • Monitor internal and external environments for emerging risks and lead proactive response efforts.
  • Manage costs and external spend in line with budget to achieve the right balance between effectiveness and efficiency.

This role is a permanent opportunity.
