ARES is seeking a Project Manager with specialization in Content Creation and Change Management to provide project manager support to the Strategy Division Innovation and Change Lead in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency’s enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA’s message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA’s communication to the outside world. EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum education - BA/BS in Communications, Mass Communications, Electronic Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum experience - 5 years.

EXPERIENCE/COMPETIENCIES/SKILLS:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Project Management and Content Curation.
  • 1+ years’ experience in Organizational Communications and Change Management.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills and ability to determine organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Capacity to work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), SharePoint, and Box.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous NASA or Federal Government experience.
  • Project Management or Agile Certification(s).
  • Previous experience in Organizational Change Management.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • This position will include but not be limited to the following activities in support of NASA Digital Academy:
  • Develop and maintain curated, role-based learning journeys within Percipio and System for Administration, Training, and Educational Resources for NASA (SATERN).
  • Translate technical content into engaging, learner-friendly formats including microlearning, job aids, and campaign toolkits.
  • Align content with established and emerging competency frameworks (e.g., data literacy, digital engineering, GenAI).
  • Platform Administration:
  • Serve as the admin for Percipio and SATERN platforms.
  • Manage course catalogs.
  • Maintain content, troubleshoot access issues, and generate usage and effectiveness reports (metrics).
  • Workforce Development:
  • Developing skillsets for the future workforce (AI, data, programming, creativity, etc.).
  • Support for organizational transformation and change initiatives.
