Bay View Therapy Centre is a thriving psychotherapy practice that is dedicated to providing mental health services to people struggling with anxiety, trauma and grief. We are opening a new location in Orillia and are looking for 1-2 Psychotherapists to join our team! Our clients include children, youth and adults. We help our clients overcome challenges they are facing with evidence-based therapies to build resiliency and facilitate healing and growth. This is an exciting opportunity to do high-quality clinical work in a supportive environment.
In this position, you will work an an Independent Contractor with Bay View Therapy Centre. This allows you to do the clinical work you love, while the practice takes care of the marketing and administrative tasks.
You will have the ability to experience stronger earning potential than what is available in community-based non-profit settings.
The position will primarily be providing in-office and virtual therapy sessions. Applicants MUST live locally and be able to offer in person sessions out of our downtown Orillia office.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• We are looking for experienced therapists with strong clinical skills and at least 1 year of experience providing evidence-based therapies.
• Minimum 3 years of experience providing therapy to adults and youth is required
• EMDR, TF-CBT, CPT and Gottman Method Couples Therapy training are considered strong assets
• Preference will be given to candidates who are theoretically integrative with their approach and who have experience working with a diverse client base
• Experience working with First Responders, providing coupes therapy and working with children are all strong assets
