Description Orthodontic Assistant at our Lakewood Office We are looking for a reliable, friendly Orthodontic Assistant to support our clinical team and help provide excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist during procedures Take X-rays, photos, and digital scans Prep and clean treatment rooms before and after appointments Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control Place/remove archwires, ligatures, and other ortho appliances as allowed Provide clear instructions to patients and parents Update patient charts and ensure accurate documentation Help keep the clinic running smoothly by supporting team needs Qualifications: Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred X-ray certification required (state-specific) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment Why Join Us: Supportive team, great patient relationships, and room to grow in the orthodontic field.
