Description Orthodontic Assistant at Hi5 Orthodontics Spokane, WA Description Orthodontic Assistant – Hi5 Orthodontics (Spokane, WA) About the Role Hi5 Orthodontics is a fun, energetic, and modern orthodontic practice looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. This role is key to creating a smooth, positive patient experience while supporting clinical workflows in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet and seat patients, ensuring strong patient flow throughout the day Assist with orthodontic procedures including placing separators, wires, elastic chains, bonding braces/Invisalign attachments, and removing cement or residue Provide patient instructions on oral hygiene and appliance care Take X-rays, CBCT scans, iTero scans, and impressions Maintain accurate patient charts and document treatment progress Anticipate the orthodontist’s needs during procedures Transport and sterilize instruments, stock supplies, and keep operatories clean Attend daily huddles and staff meetings to align on patient care Present a positive and professional image while supporting office policies Requirements 1+ year of dental assisting experience (orthodontic experience preferred) Knowledge of dental/orthodontic terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organized, reliable, and a strong team player Able to travel to BOTH locations
