Description Orthodontic Assistant Location: Chandler, AZ Practice: Premier Orthodontics About Premier Orthodontics: Premier Orthodontics is a modern, patient-focused practice providing braces and Invisalign for kids, teens, and adults. Our Chandler team is upbeat, caring, and committed to creating confident smiles in a fun, professional environment. Position Summary: As an Orthodontic Assistant at Premier Orthodontics, you’ll work chairside with our orthodontist to deliver high-quality orthodontic care and an outstanding patient experience. You’ll assist with clinical procedures, educate patients and parents, maintain sterilization standards, and help keep the office running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient appointments Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures (bonding, wire changes, bracket placement, adjustments, etc.) Take x-rays, photos, and digital scans as needed (with certification) Educate patients and parents on appliance care and oral hygiene Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in practice software Manage instrument sterilization and infection control protocols Monitor inventory and restock clinical supplies Support team members and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment Participate in continuing education and internal training opportunities Qualifications: Dental Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience required Arizona x-ray certification and CPR certification Minimum 1 year of orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Experience with orthodontic appliances and digital scanning is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) a bonus but not required
