Join us – be a Hero!   Position Overview We are currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position will report to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant.   This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.   Pay range: $17-$28/hr   Job Responsibilities * Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner * Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system * Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families * Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc. * Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children Minimum Qualifications * Radiology education and training that meets state requirements * Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents * Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner * Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus * Previous experience working in a dental office preferred * Current BLS CPR certification In addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality chair-side assistance to the orthodontist, including fitting bands and removing braces. Maintain a clean practice environment and accurately record patient medical histories in the EHR system.
