Description We have a state-of-the-art dental practice at Fort Leavenworth, KS as part of Army and Air Force Exchange Services specifically servicing Military Families and Military Veterans. Our practice has a family feel and we focus on building relationships with our patients. Making sure to provide each of our patients with the best quality care. Responsibilities: Familiar with Tie Bands Familiar with Placing Bonding Impressions if applicable Familiar with Itero Scanning Familiar with Invisalign 6-month Smiles Familiar with Standard Braces Able to build rapport with patients. Prepare patients for dental work. Must have excellent verbal and written communication. Familiar with Dental software and equipment. Dental Assistants are responsible for the set-up/break down, including disposing of any bio-hazards properly. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Must follow all infection control procedures. Must be able to complete clerical reporting on a daily/monthly basis. Requirements Current Dental Assistant Radiology License / DANB Two (2) years or more of experience X-Ray Certified Must have or be willing to obtain a Real ID prior to starting CPR/BLS Valid Driver License; Reliable Transportation Expanded duty dental assistant preferred ________________________________________ If you are made a conditional offer of employment, you will be required to undergo background check (including criminal record check) and drug screening. Responsibilities
Dental Assistants are responsible for preparing patients for dental work, including setting up and breaking down procedures, proper bio-hazard disposal, and sterilizing instruments and equipment according to infection control procedures. They must also be familiar with various orthodontic procedures and maintain daily/monthly clerical reporting.
