Description

Come join one of the largest Specialty Dental Practices in Durham Region, where you will work with our Orthodontist!
Hours: Every other Mon 12:30-5, Every Wed 12:30-5, Thursdays and Fridays 8-5
You are paid for open time in your schedule, and are not sent home if there is open time.
Lots of flexibility provided in vacation time.
We offer Continuing Education Courses paid, as well as in house continuing education

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and treatment rooms by adhering to practices and procedures
  • Prepare for and administer treatment for orthodontics
  • Data entry with accurate and timely record keeping
  • Address the needs of patients, be thorough and attentive, and honor patient confidentiality at all times
  • Educate patients about good oral hygiene including plaque control, flossing/brushing techniques and pre/postoperative instructions
  • Comply with dental regulatory guidelines and protocols

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Tracker software an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment as a positive contributing member
  • Familiar with current standards within the industry, ethical principles and dedicated to oral health
  • Caring bedside manner
