This is a territory ownership role designed for a hunter-style sales professional who will be one of the founding members of the sales organization. The role focuses on selling next-generation digital orthodontic planning technology into orthodontic practices, with an emphasis on new account acquisition and conversion of existing high-volume orthodontist relationships. This position plays a critical role in scaling the company’s go-to-market strategy and driving early-stage revenue growth. The ideal candidate is startup-ready, thrives in competitive environments, and can generate pipeline quickly while engaging sophisticated clinical customers. Compensation: Orthodontic Sales Representative Base Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 ++ Total Compensation at Plan: $180,000 – $190,000 (uncapped, approximately $80,000 variable) Car Allowance: Mileage reimbursement Key Responsibilities: • Hunt and acquire new orthodontic accounts across the assigned territory • Convert existing high-volume orthodontist relationships into active users • Drive utilization and adoption to meet aggressive early revenue goals • Provide high-level clinical and technical discussions around digital workflows, biomechanics, and treatment planning • Position the platform as a superior clinical and operational solution compared to existing market options This role is field-based and requires strong autonomy, accountability, and the ability to make immediate impact in an early-stage growth environment. Requirements • Proven hunter-style sales experience selling directly into orthodontic practices • Existing book of business with high-volume orthodontists • Experience selling innovative or disruptive technology in a competitive market • Strong understanding of clear aligner systems, digital dentistry, and orthodontic treatment planning • Ability to discuss advanced biomechanics and digital workflow economics with clinicians • Startup mindset with the ability to generate pipeline quickly and operate autonomously • Ability to work full-time in a field-based sales role covering the Seattle, WA territory Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
