OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dental team with Orthodontic experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by coordinating treatment plans, managing patient care, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in an Orthodontic dental clinic is required, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, Ortho treatment and Invisalign is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques is essential.
  • Experience with medical imaging and dental fabrication processes is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail in patient care.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient service and support throughout the treatment process. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage patient treatment plans, ensuring all necessary procedures are scheduled in a timely manner.
  • Conduct patient assessments and provide thorough explanations of treatment options, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize dental software systems such as AkituOne for scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for dental procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
  • Ensure infection control protocols are followed during all patient interactions and treatments.
  • Provide support during dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other surgical procedures as needed.
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care and follow-up appointments to ensure optimal recovery and satisfaction.
