Job Summary The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon to join its expanding Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. This is a faculty position with a clinical focus, providing a busy orthopaedic trauma surgery practice at two of the largest trauma centers in North Texas. Position Highlights High-volume orthopaedic trauma surgery role with robust surgical case mix Primarily clinical practice Trauma call and operative responsibilities at Clements University Hospital (Level 4) and/or Parkland (Level 1), nationally recognized trauma centers Faculty appointment at UT Southwestern Medical Center, rank commensurate with experience Qualifications MD or DO degree Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery Eligible for Texas medical license Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with incentive opportunities Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and CME allowance Relocation assistance available This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
