Practice Highlights: Full scope orthopedic surgery practice Collaborate with a team of seven physcians and four APCs Opportunity to treat patients in clinic as well as first assist in the OR Responsibilities Summary:Provides quality healthcare in collaboration with other health care provides in an outpatient clinic/practice, surgical assisting, and post-op rounding Responsibilities: Performs history and physical assessments. Assists in surgery. Performs post-operative in-patient rounding. Performs minor surgical procedures including casting Performs health maintenance activities. Administers preventative health care methods. Interprets lab and x-ray results. Serves as a patient educator. Serves on-call responsibilities. Performs possible in-patient health care. Performs other functions as required. Other information:For Physician Assistant - Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant, and licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners required.
