Position Overview Department: ASMOC (Andrews Sports Medicine) Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Perform patient care and orthopedic procedures in assigned area. Assist with treatments requiring plaster casts and/or surgical procedures involving fractures as ordered by a physician. Set up and apply medical devices related to orthopedics. Report abnormal assessment findings or changes in orthopedic conditions to staff. Maintain current knowledge of orthopedic policies/procedures through training, testing, and skills labs. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
