POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Inventory Specialist (OS&D), where your expertise will contribute significantly to our operational efficiency and success.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 0800-1630

SKILLS

  • OS&D experience preferred
  • 2 years previous experience in the warehousing industry (asset)
  • Customs Clearance experience (asset)
  • Previous experience in inventory control or supply chain management is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful insights for decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members across departments.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Sort, scan & file all OS&D exception problems
  • Investigate all OS&D’s
  • Completion of daily dock check (electronic & written)
  • Working the ‘All short’ report daily
  • Problem solving
  • Work closely with customer care, dispatch, operations and other terminals to ensure timely movement of freight
  • Extensive contact and interaction with the public in situations requiring problem resolution, and duties which relate specifically to Customer concerns
  • Research and follow-up on customer problems and respond to questions
  • Obtain information from the customer to perform a requested task
  • Act in a pro-active manner in order to fix customer problems when they arise and suggest and implement procedure to prevent them from happening in the future
