Description

Role: Linux Patching & Basic Triage Engineer – Marvell Bangalore Experience: 3–6 Years Key Responsibilities * Perform monthly & emergency patching on Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) * Execute patching using tools like YUM, DNF, APT, Satellite/Ansible (if applicable) * Handle L1/L2 triage for patch failures, system alerts, and incidents * Perform pre/post patch validation and system health checks * Ensure patch compliance as per security and SLA requirements * Coordinate with application, infra, and security teams for patching activities * Maintain change records and support CAB processes Required Skills * Strong experience in Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) * Hands-on with Linux patching and package management tools * Good knowledge of incident triage & troubleshooting * Basic understanding of shell scripting * Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident/Change Management) Good to Have * Exposure to Ansible / Satellite / automation tools * Experience with vulnerability tools (Qualys/Nessus) At Zensar, we’re “experience-led everything”.
