Company Description IOTA Group, a prominent Swiss International Technical Consulting firm specializing in heavy industries, is expanding its team. We are hiring for Mozambique LNG Project, a strategic initiative of our client with an estimated cost of $20+ billion, including two LNG trains (13 mtpa total), LNG and condensate storage, marine facilities, utilities, and early site infrastructure. Job Description The Power Generation Area Manager leads the centralized power generation system of the LNG plant, with an installed capacity of ~300 MW ISO, managing a team of superintendents and supervisors. Promote strong HSE leadership and ensure full compliance with safety and environmental standards. Support the Project Manager in site management and contribute to the Emergency Management Team. Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering strong collaboration with EPC contractors. Oversee installation readiness of the 300 MW power generation system in line with project specifications and international standards. Coordinate construction activities through to handover to commissioning, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely execution. Monitor progress, manage risks, and support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and SIMOPS activities. Qualifications Degree in Engineering or relevant field 20 years of experience, including 10 years at a management level Minimum 10 years on large greenfield projects, preferably LNG liquefaction, GTL, petrochemical, refinery, or gas processing/feedstock plants. Deep understanding of safety, environmental compliance, work organization, cost control, scheduling, quality, and organizational risk management in large projects. Strong HSE culture and leadership Excellent communication and leadership skills, fluent in English; Portuguese or French advantageous.
