Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Purchase Administrator you will be core part of our HQ operations team. Potential applicants can expect a diverse role at the centre of our logistics chain.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Processing orders and invoices from Oseyo branches using internal POS system.
  • Maintaining and updating the stock record.
  • Maintaining records for all orders, payments and received stock.
  • Evaluating prices and implementing weekly promotion across stores.
  • Collaborating with business partners for new product launches.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure relevant and up to date product availability.
  • Analysing industry and demand trends and supporting management to identify business opportunities.
  • Forecasting product requirements.
  • Liaising with stores regarding the status of their orders and any queries that may arise.
  • Preparation of miscellaneous items to be sent to branches.
  • Coordinating of all deliveries, and following up on delays or rescheduled deliveries, ensuring orders/stock are delivered and checked in to the appropriate location in a timely manner.
  • Working with third-party logistics managing outbound orders.
  • Communicating with various departments to ensure smooth operations throughout the company. Short travel is required between units in the complex to distribute picking lists and delivery notes.
  • Ensuring compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedure.
  • Ad hoc duties.
  • 8 hours per day (excluding 1 hour break).
