Bao Mama in Oshawa, ON is looking for one Oshawa full-time kitchen lead to join our 30 person strong team. We are located on 70 King St. E. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable.
The Kitchen Lead is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards. This role acts as a liaison between kitchen staff and management, helping coordinate shifts, delegate tasks, and maintain a smooth, efficient kitchen environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Minimum of two years.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (valid Food Handler’s Certificate)
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
