Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a part-time Assistant Coordinator to support our long-term Coordinators within our well established OSHC program. Our OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of Our Lady of Good Counsel Primary School in Forestville and is open from 7:00am to 9:00am in the mornings and from 3:00pm to 6pm in the afternoons Monday to Friday during term time. During school holidays and Pupil free days the service runs a Vacation Care program from 7:30am- 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

DUTIES

  • Supporting the coordinators with the efficient day to day operation of the service.
  • Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children
  • Ensuring compliance and best practice programming under the National Quality Standards and Regulations.
  • Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required.
  • Willingness to engage in professional development.

We know that changing roles is a big decision – so here is what we can offer you:

  • Salary packaging – also known as salary sacrifice - means allocating a portion of your salary to pay certain expenses before income tax is calculated. So, on pay day you pay less income tax and have more money for the things that matter.
  • Access to training and learning opportunities.
  • An Employee Assistance Program offering free and confidential counselling and support.
  • Additional paid leave day over the Christmas period.
  • Be recognised and rewarded at our Hope Awards night
  • Baby bonus paid for eligible primary career
