Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Chef/Cook at our OSHC Centre, you will be responsible for serving breakfast and preparing pre-cooked afternoon tea for children, ensuring their meals are nutritious and delicious. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and eating environment.

YOUR KEY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Serving breakfast and preparing pre-cooked afternoon tea (all food is provided by school cafeteria, prepared by a qualified chef)
  • Cleaning dishes and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Ensuring the eating area is tidy and safe for children
  • Adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean working environment
