QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science, IT or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with AVEVA/OSI PI system in an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in OSIsoft PI systems components, including PI Server, PI AF, PI Vision and PI DataLink.
  • Experience working on OSI PI in industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals or Utilities.
  • Knowledge on data integration protocols such as OPC, Modbus and BACnet.
  • Familiarity with SQL database, scripting (PowerShell, Python) and PowerBI or other tools for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to industrial control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • OSIsoft certifications (OSIsoft Certified PI System Administrator), IT certifications (ISA, GICSP).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting system expansions, new installations, and data source integrations.
  • Document system changes, configurations, and project deliverables.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain the PI system (PI Servers, Interfaces, Clients).
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance; apply patches and upgrades with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and optimise system performance; resolve issues related to connectivity, interfaces, or data flow.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams on cross-functional challenges.
  • Develop and maintain interfaces to integrate PI with data sources (PLCs, DCS, SCADA, etc.).
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the enterprise.
  • Develop dashboards, trends, and reports using PI tools (PI Vision, ProcessBook, PI AF).
  • Support KPI monitoring and advanced analytics using PI data.
  • Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations ensuring audit readiness.
  • Provide training and support on OSI PI tools to stakeholders, while also serving as the primary point of contact for system-related inquiries.
