POSITION OVERVIEW:

OSINT Analysts are responsible for conducting advanced collection, processing, Exploitation, Dissemination (PED), reporting, and targeting publicly available and commercially available data sources. OSINT Analysts shall interface with the Intelligence Community to produce intelligence assessments in support of special operations, targeting, HUMINT and exploitation operations, cyber operations, and indications and warnings threat estimates. OSINT Analysts should fuse publicly available and commercially available information for multi-intelligence assessments. This position is contingent upon award.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of total experience as an intelligence analyst with the DoD or the intelligence community.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of specific experience in OSINT/PAI exploitation directly supporting special operations, intelligence operations, kinetic/non-kinetic targeting, and/or HUMINT lead development. Prior experience providing OSINT analytic support to special operations is preferred. (Note: experience with traditional/legacy OSINT duties (i.e. reviewing, translating, and/or reporting on feeds from domestic or foreign PAI, social media, or news sources) will not be considered equivalent experience).
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with digital signature reduction.
  • Advanced proficiency in the current suite of available all-source intelligence tools, databases, and repositories, as well as analytic and targeting methodology.
  • Advanced proficiency with the current suite of available specific OSINT/PAI tools, databases, and repositories, as well as OSINT research and methodology, and a strong understanding of the digital information environment (including social media, the internet, commercially available data, and deep/dark web data sources).
  • Advanced understanding of OSINT/PAI authorities, regulations, and policy.
  • Superior written communications skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
  • Superior verbal briefing skills, with demonstrated history of briefing at the O5/GS14 level or above OS.Deep understanding and experience within the USSOCOM Enterprise preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) using publicly and commercially available data sources.

  • Integrate OSINT into multi-intelligence environments, fusing open data with other intelligence disciplines to develop comprehensive all-source products.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor threat actors, networks, and indicators of hostile activity through publicly available information (PAI).
  • Produce timely and actionable intelligence products that inform operational decision-making and support tactical, operational, and strategic goals.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging OSINT tools, tradecraft, and methodologies to enhance analytical capability and operational relevance.
  • Ensure intelligence reporting is accurate, relevant, and appropriately classified in accordance with DoD and IC standards.All other duties assigned within the scope of the program.
