Cyient Inc. currently has an opening for a Outside Plant (OSP) Designer, responsible for OSP FTTP fiber work orders in the Sacramento, CA area. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, intelligent individuals with previous OSP engineering and field data collection experience. Ideal candidates will have previous experience designing multiple OSP telecom projects simultaneously, including (but not limited to) FTTP (Fiber Distribution), 5G, HiCap and BAU projects. Experienced with client software systems including CADTEL, PeopleSoft and NetCracker is preferred. The ideal OSP Designer will also travel to the field to survey, confirm, and assess current field conditions and meet with the customer as they relate to ongoing OSP designs.
Candidate must have reliable transportation to multiple work locations daily and self-manage their workload and work schedule.
