QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to identify existing voice/data plant, electric, and other utilities on the site plans as well as in the field
- Ability to indicate existing voice/data plant location and relocate facilities and knowledge of obtaining right of ways and easements where required
- Must have experience managing other OSP Engineers and reviewing/correcting their projects
- Expert in obtaining right of ways and easements where required
- Must be capable of engineering routine and specific COE/OSP work orders, including more complex projects, including road moves
- Must have expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles, work order procedures, voice/data industry standards, PC applications, and COE/OSP record and/or computer-aided drafting systems
- Experience with the local networks
- Ability to perform quality control on engineering work for other members of the team
- Experience/Understanding of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for engineering requirements.
Preferred location: Washington West Coast. Ideal candidate lives along the I-5 corridor south of Seattle and North of Olympia in Washington. Towns along the I-5 corridor include Olympia, Lacey, Fort Lewis, Lakewood, Parkland, Tacoma, Edgewood, Auburn, Federal Way, Kent, Renton, and Burien.
Pay Range: $34.00-$36.00 hourly/DOE
