Partner with the BD team to align operational capabilities with client pursuits, proposals, and bundled offerings. Track and report KPIs specific to the fiber program (BD meetings, proposals, pilot project success, training completion, workflow adoption). Establish Stantec as a leader in fiber design delivery through operational excellence and client-focused service. Project Management – Fiber Projects Manage active fiber design projects from planning through close-out, ensuring adherence to scope, budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Coordinate project resources, schedules, and deliverables across supporting teams Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure high-quality deliverables are provided to clients. Lead client communications, calls, and status updates; provide exceptional customer service in alignment with BD strategies. Ensure project close-out deliverables are completed, documented, and submitted to clients. Operational Readiness & Resource Management Forecast and manage capacity for fiber design projects as the program scales. Lead cross-training initiatives to equip teams with fiber design skills (FTTH, long-haul, hyperscale connectivity, and small cell fiber rings). Oversee adoption of software and tools for fiber design (GIS, CAD, Lightspeed, permitting platforms). Coordinate subcontractors and vendors specific to fiber program delivery. Budget Oversight Develop and manage fiber project budgets; track expenses and financials. Provide monthly financial reports and forecasts for fiber delivery performance. Identify, request, and manage change orders as needed. Oversee invoicing, collections, and AR specific to fiber services. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration Serve as the operational point of contact for all fiber program delivery. Coordinate bundled fiber offerings with Environmental, Energy, and Community Development teams as needed. Work hand-in-hand with BD to develop integrated proposals and client campaigns that highlight fiber as part of bundled services. Incorporate client and internal feedback into continuous fiber program improvement. Quality Assurance & Risk Management Implement quality control processes to ensure fiber deliverables meet or exceed industry standards. Conduct regular reviews and audits of fiber projects. Develop permitting matrices, readiness checklists, and risk mitigation SOPs tailored to fiber. Proactively address risks to minimize delays in fiber design delivery.
