At LCRA, we are seeking a motivated and technical individual to join our Telecom team as a dynamic Systems Administrator! In this position you will take ownership of a complex business-critical OSS application, database and associated hardware. We are looking for a driven individual to become our in-house expert. You'll work closely with other teams to develop robust solutions, automate routine tasks, and troubleshoot with precision. This role brings an opportunity to develop and deploy solutions to upgrade systems, optimize performance, and improve usability and reliability. You will be trusted to: - Monitor, test, debug, and maintain system (App, OS, DB, HW) for peak performance and availability - Schedule testing, perform system patch and upgrades - Provide technical assistance and training - Develop and maintain code to enhance system performance and data output You qualify with: - Six or more years of experience in systems development, installation, administration and maintenance in a UNIX/Windows environment, or other relevant experience, including two or more years in supporting high availability systems.  - A degree(s) in software engineering, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
