Description

PUSH Markham is seeking a Registered Osteopath to join our growing team as the primary osteopathic service provider within the clinic. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to provide client-centered care to women experiencing musculoskeletal pain, postural imbalances, pregnancy/postpartum-related discomfort, and other physical health concerns. The ideal candidate will be passionate about women’s health and wellness, skilled in hands-on manual therapy techniques, and committed to fostering a supportive and healing environment for clients.
The successful candidate will have autonomy of their work schedule Monday-Saturday based on room availability and demand.
Reception staff, primary equipment (ie motorized treatment table, wedge pillows, linens), and office systems are provided by the clinic. The office uses Jane platform as the EMR system to manage client information with capability for direct billing with insurance companies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate musculoskeletal health, posture, and mobility.
  • Develop and implement individualized osteopathic treatment plans to address pain, tension, and movement restrictions.
  • Utilize evidence-based osteopathic techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy.
  • Provide hands-on therapy to address conditions such as pregnancy-related discomfort, postpartum recovery, chronic pain, and stress-related tension.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Jane App and in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Educate clients on posture, movement, and self-care techniques to support long-term health and wellness.
  • Work independently, and as a member of a team with a growth mindset
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients, reception staff and other practitioners while on-site or off-site team events

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Registered Osteopath in good standing with a recognized osteopathic regulatory body in Ontario.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing osteopathic treatment, preferably in women’s health or related areas.
  • Experience supporting clients with prenatal and postpartum care, chronic pain, or musculoskeletal conditions is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques and holistic treatment approaches.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client education skills
