We’re looking for an experienced OT Engineer to play a key role in supporting and optimising our renewable energy assets. This opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion—highlighting our commitment to career development. You’ll gain exposure to a diverse portfolio, including five operational sites and two newly commissioned assets—one of which is among the largest onshore wind farms in the world (923MW).
Job Description

As an OT Engineer, you’ll help maintain and improve the reliability and performance of ACCIONA Energia’s wind and solar assets. You’ll provide technical support both remotely and on-site, work on system upgrades, and collaborate across teams to ensure safe and efficient operations. Key duties include:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in integrated SCADA systems
  • Deliver OT/SCADA system upgrades and modifications
  • Maintain and optimise OT networks across wind, solar, and BESS assets
  • Develop SCADA and communications design documentation
  • Analyse performance data to drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with service providers and contractors to resolve system failures
  • Contribute to OT standards, procedures, and compliance (including SOCI Act obligations)

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar
  • Experience in industrial automation or power systems
  • Strong SCADA and OT systems knowledge
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • A valid Australian driver’s license with flexibility to travel as required
