Chronos Operations, LLC is seeking an OT/ICS Cybersecurity Specialist/MRT-C Lead with a strong background in cybersecurity for the Army Materiel Command (AMC), Chief Information Office (CIO). This role is responsible for leading the charge in security critical infrastructure, conducting terrain mapping, identifying critical assets and updating the Mission Assurance Decision Support System.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the MRT-C effort, conducting terrain mapping, identifying critical assets, and updating the Mission Assurance Decision Support System.
- Provide Situational Awareness and Mission Analysis, encompassing mission mapping, decomposition, cyberspace terrain mapping, data capture, and iterative assessments, with a precise focus on Task Critical Assets and Defense Critical Infrastructure for Operational Technology in Facility Related Controls and Manufacturing Environments.
- Establish a comprehensive process that includes on-site visits, utilization of approved discovery tools, stakeholder partnerships, and leadership engagements, yielding detailed artifacts that define the authorization boundary.
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments and vulnerability assessments of ICS/SCADA and OT systems, identifying potential mission impact.
- Assess, design, and implement cybersecurity solutions tailored to OT/ICS environments.
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents affecting OT systems, utilizing tools like SIEM.
- Ensure cybersecurity strategies and implementations comply with industry standards and regulatory frameworks such as NIST RMF, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), IEC 62443, and NERC CIP.
- Develop a knowledge management plan to capture data and deliver business intelligence and data analysis across all functions.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including engineering, operations teams, leadership, and potentially external partners, communicating complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in OT cybersecurity.
- Develop and deliver training programs and contribute to the development of cybersecurity strategies and policies for OT environments.
- May supervise others.

Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- 7+ years of experience in assessing and securing Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments.
- Experience to include:
- Experience with cybersecurity standards specific to OT/ICS (e.g., NIST 800-82, IEC 62443) is essential
- Experience with security controls like firewalls, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, and endpoint protection in OT environments.
- Experience with on-site assessments and utilizing discovery tools.
- Must have active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must have knowledge of NIST RMF, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), IEC 62443, and NERC CIP.
- Understanding of SCADA, PLCs, DCS, HMIs, IIoT, and industrial network protocols is essential.
- Familiarity with standards like NERC CIP, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CISA guidelines.
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex threat data.
- Strong knowledge of current cyber security trends and hacker methodologies.
- Proficient in threat intelligence platforms and tools.
- Effective communication skills for information between various functional disciplines as well as strong briefing skills with senior customer and corporate leadership.
- Proven leadership skills include working in a team environment, fostering communication, listening to teammate concerns and reconciling internal issues or differences.
- Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.
